common sense.
Common sense will be your best friend throughout the game as it plays a big role. If we say anything here that comes as a shock, this game isn't for you. There will be no god-modding, meta-gaming, no Mary Sue-ing. Be mature but don't have a stick up your ass over things, we're here to have fun. Don't mix your IC and OOC unless you can play nice. Don't ask for a PB that is already in use or attempt to reanimate deceased PBs. Make sure to read over the FAQ for valuable game information that you will need to know.

state of play.
You'll find in mutating, threading and AIM are equally accepted means of play. Your scenes can be present or past, all posted or most private. Journal entries should be done at least once every three weeks and commenting should be done as often as possible. We don't care how long your journal entries are - everything from novellas to one liners are okay. We only ask you to not wait until the three week mark every time to make an update. This rule applies per a player. What does this mean for you if you take multiple characters? You'll be happy to hear this means you do not have to update all your characters strictly within the three weeks. As long as they all are active, you only have to update one to keep yourself in. We do strongly encourage you to make a update-schedule, simply so a character doesn't fall too inactive.

no littering.
Please keep all your posts FRIENDS ONLY and keep the right stuff in the right communities. Save your OOC comments for the OOC community or AIM. Don't put unnecessary characters into screen names. This is all too obvious, isn't it? Let's skip to the next section!

welcome aboard.
Once you've joined you should make a post in OOC letting people know who you are, who you play, and any storylines you might be looking for. If you need a hiatus or have a question, post out of character or in the drop box, if you prefer. At three weeks, if there is no noticeable play, you'll be warned and marked out of the game easy as you please. You will also be removed if you do not have your first entry up within a week of joining; that's just to keep the join-and-run people out. The single most important thing that we would like to stress is this: Relax. Be Creative. Have fun.
